Update notification won’t go away

Hi for the last 2 woocommerce updates the notification won’t dismiss. WooCommerce database update required. If I click the update woocommerce database button I get link is expired.

I run a server cron and have never had an issue before.

I have hunted around the forum for possible soultions.

I use cloudways hosting and checking the DB it already shows actioned.
I believe it is actually updated but the notification will not go away.

My error log I think is unrelated to this issue.

Hi @lukassasso ,

Thanks for sharing the fatal error logs.

WC Database Version: 6.7.0

It appears that the WC Database has been updated, as seen in your Status report.

This issue could more than likely be stemming from the object-cache.php. Object caching involves storing database queries and it could be the possible cause of this.

Please could you temporarily disable the Redis Object Cache: by Till Krüss to see if this makes any difference?

If disabling the plugin makes no difference, you can try access your FTP or cPanel and locate the wp-content folder, and see if there is object-cache.php.

If so, please try renaming this and then check if the ‘WooCommerce database update required’ notice has disappeared.

Please make a full backup of your site and database before making any changes to the WordPress installation files, so that you can install a backup should anything go wrong.

Please let me know how this goes!
