I only just started using this plugin, I got my first 3 subscribers with my preview newsletter and then poof, the whole plugin disappeared! And I can’t reinstall because it thinks it’s still there. I tried to follow the instructions w/troubleshoot mode but I can’t activate, deactivate, or reactivate a plugin that has disappeared entirely. The link I listed above is broken so it just goes to my homepage. My form has disappeared. Everything is a mess and i JUST started. Can anyone help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there @pixiedane,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with the MailPoet plugin!

In certain circumstances, if MailPoet detects problems with itself, it may be automatically disabled by itself and you won’t see it on your WordPress dashboard.

If you try to re-install it via the Plugins page and see the error message Installation failed: Destination folder already exists, please try to re-install the plugin via FTP:

    https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/258-re-installing-updating-the-plugin-via-ftp

Don’t worry, you won’t lose any data from the plugin.

You may also want to check with your host if they see any PHP errors around the time when the plugin got deactivated as it may give you some clues on why it happened.

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi @pixiedane,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
