Security Ninja: Got a packet bigger than max_allowed_packet

    Hi, unfortunately I have the following problem when installing the plugin “Security Ninja”.

    It causes a fatal error, the installation is aborted.

    Message: WordPress database error: [Got a packet bigger than ‘max_allowed_packets’ bytes].

    This is an installation on localhost. XAMPP has never had problems with any plugins here and it seems strange to me that the default settings should not be sufficient.

    settings now in the my.cnf:
    [mysqldump]
    max_allowed_packet=16M

    the zip-file of the plugin security-ninja: 2.9MB

    Unfortunately, I am a beginner and don’t really know where I stand here.
