• I have an older site where I let users add Posts through a form using this plugin. I tried to load this on a new site but it looks totally different. I don’t have the widget to Add New Post when I am on a page. Has this changed on the new versions where you have to crate the form on another screen and then bring it into the page where you ant to use it?

  • I had this same issue. It turns out that this changed in version 3.7.0, where the author “Lite deprecated all Elementor widgets for new users except for Frontend Form (if you are already using these widgets, they will continue to function).” I wonder for how long?

If you go here, at the bottom of the page, you can download a version prior to 3.7.0: https://wordpress.org/plugins/acf-frontend-form-element/advanced/

I confirmed that you can create a form the old way with version 3.6.6. After creating a form the old way & saving the page, I updated the plugin to the latest version, and it still works the way it used to.

Going forward, I’ll be looking for a new solution as I find this change unsettling. It feels like the author isn’t really committed to Elementor anymore. I also can’t see a way to add my existing field groups to a form using the new way.
