Text will not wrap around image

I’ve followed the tutorials that instruct to Add Media to the text editor in Elementor. Doing so and aligning the image/text accordingly should make the text wrap around the image. However, when I do this, only the first line of text is wrapping and it is only beginning near the bottom right of the photo, and the rest is beneath the photo. There’s a large space above the first line that the photo height seems to be creating. In the Text Editor tool, it appears correctly with the text wrapped around the image, but the page itself is not updating. I tried following tutorials in the WordPress editor as well and it is doing the same thing.
