I wonder if it is possible to change the character “-” in “Heute – September 26th” in the non-premium version of the event calendar. I would like to replace it with the words “up to and including”. Is there any possibility here? Is it possible in the premium version? I am grateful for every tip. Thank you!

  • Hi there,

You can edit it using the free plugin, but it’ll require some template customization.

Copy the file /plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/v2/list/top-bar/datepicker.php and paste it in your own theme by creating a file at [your-theme]/tribe/events/v2/list/top-bar/datepicker.php.

Then, on the file added to your theme, search for “tribe-events-c-top-bar__datepicker-separator”. You’ll find the span tag using that CSS class and see the hyphen character; you can change it as desired.

If you need to check more about how template customizations work, please see more documentation about our views template system at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/calendar-template-files-v2/
