    Hello,

I have been using the old Jetpack Twitter Timeline widget on my sidebar. It’s worked great, no issues. But all of a sudden, it no longer displays my timeline. It just says “My Tweets” and you click that to be taken to my twitter profile.

I tried the new Twitter widget in the block editor, thinking this was an issue with the classics no longer being supported. However, when I try to embed my twitter profile there I get the message: “Sorry, this content could not be embedded” Then all that shows in my sidebar is a hyperlink reading “Tweets by [My Twitter Handle]”. BUT, when I try to embed a single tweet, it works just fine.

Is there no way to embed your twitter timeline anymore?

I tried switching to a Twenty theme. I tried installing the Classics Editor plugin. I tried other social plugins like Custom Twitter Feeds and Feed Them Social. Nothing has worked.

I have WordPress 6.0 and the Hemingway theme. Everything is all up to date.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thank you.

On one of my sites, I just use a custom HTML widget, with this content:

    <a class="twitter-timeline" data-width="320" data-height="800" data-theme="light" href="https://twitter.com/sds52/lists/sln?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">A Twitter List by sds52</a> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Change the href= to your twitter feed and it should (probably) work, but you may want to use their builder at https://publish.twitter.com/#

If you want to fix the jetpack widget, I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Hi Steve. Thanks for replying. Unfortunately, that didn’t work either. It still only creates a hyperlink and not an embedded timeline. But I did post my question over at the recommended forum, so hopefully that’ll garner some suggestions as well.

    Thank you again.
