Followed tutorial and just cannot get theme uploaded….

I know that it is user error, but I just cannot get the theme to show up. I used Filezilla to upload a theme into my website. However, I don’t think my website is pointing to the theme. It just keeps the old theme. I have looked at the posts, followed all of the suggestions….any ideas????
