channel theme sidebar widget problem – help welcomed
-
hi,
i’m using the free channel theme (http://www.theme-junkie.com/themes/channel/) and i’m wondering if anyone could help with a problem.
in the sidebar, whenever a widget is used WITHOUT a title, the sidebar brakes (depending on the number of widgets without title, the whole page could brake).
if anyone could provide any insight into how to get the sidebar to work with widgets that have no title, i would greatly appreciate it.
thanks

On the demo I am deleting the <h3>title</h3> and it doesnt break the sidebar. Maybe its something else on your site.
A link to your site would help.
sorry, that was stupid not putting the site link.
here’s my test site http://kupus.webuda.com/
currently, the text widget is without the title and the result you can see.
also, there are some pugins (like sidebar tabs) where you can turn off the title option but the sidebar brakes.thanks for your help.
Looks like the left/right sidebar doesnt have any css styling at all.
Did you already make a bunch of changes to the theme? If so I would reinstall the theme because I am not sure what all happened and make your changes 1 at a time to see if whatever you did will effect it again.
no, that is a direct consequence of removing the title from the widget, in this case the Text widget has no title (this piece of text “ko zna” should be in the widget window). if i were to put the title back, the left and right sidebar and footer would go back to normal.
if there are more than 2 widgets without a title, the whole page goes beserk, even if no changes to the theme were made and i would really like to understand what makes it so…
thanks for your time.
Ya sorry I dont know then. All I can do is play with the demo to see if I can recreate it and I cant.
What I would do is try to insert what you want in the theme editor for sidebar.php or whatever it is for that theme. That way you can put in exactly what you want instead of using a widget.
