Wordfence email subject

    Hi there,

    I have more wordpress pages with wordfence installed. I receive every week email with information about installations, but all of them have same subject.

    Is there possibility add domain name to wordfence notification email subject?

    Hi @davpdav, thanks for getting in touch.

    Please could you show me an example of one of these email subjects by sharing a screenshot using Snipboard or a similar service?

    The reason I ask is because my personal inbox receives the following emails where my source domain is mentioned in all cases:

    • Wordfence activity for January 25, 2021 on domain[dom]com
    • [Wordfence Alert] domain[dom]com Admin Login
    • [Wordfence Alert] Problems found on domain[dot]com

    Are you using Wordfence Central to manage multiple domains at once, or does each site have its own totally independent installation?

    thank you for your answer!

    Is there any possibility to modify subject? Domain first? Or remove date?

    I have problem with too long subject. Have to click to detail of message to view domain info.

    Hi @davpdav,

    There is no way in the plugin settings to currently manually change the subjects that come through. I can submit this as a development request however to state the domain earlier in the text to prevent it being so easily cropped if that is the main issue?

    All requests are considered and discussed although we cannot provide further updates on their priority or likelihood of being included in future releases.
