Uncaught error with ‘ProfileGrid Stripe Payments’ plugin

I have the non-free ‘ProfileGrid Stripe Payments’ plugin installed and activated but not configured.

The error is :

Uncaught IntegrationError: Please call Stripe() with your publishable key. You used an empty string.

I plan on setting up stripe at some point soon, but don’t expect errors when the settings are at initial values.

I see in my global settings > payments that ‘stripe payment processor’ is set to off. With this set to off, is there any reason to load profilegrid-stripe-payment-public.js ?` Ideally it would only load on pages that are actually used for payements. Not loading the stripe javascript saves about 100kb of loaded js which is significant in page load time.
