What are you using to update your subscribers?
I know Feedburner can take up to a day to send it all out but aweber can do it really fast.
So it depends on how you are updating subscribers I guess and how many you have.
I am using Feedburner. How long does aweber take and is it part of the WordPress package or a seperate service? I’m new to it all.

Aweber is separate and its not free. Its by far the best email service and will deliver all the emails pretty quick.
Thanks I am checking it out now. Do you know how to import a current subscriber list? Does Aweber give you that option or do you have to start from scratch?
You can import but a confirmation email gets sent and they have to click it before it gets added.
You can tie your blog to that account so each time you make a blog post then it sends out all the emails.
Thanks! It seems this system has its pros and cons. The pro is you can import a list, which Feedburner does not seem to offer. The con is that if you already have a subscriber list you have to resign-up all your current subscribers.

Hey, I found a new service called FeedMailPro.com. It’s free for the first 1000 subscribers then only $10/month no matter how many people you have on your list. I’m still trying to find out how quickly the emails go out.
Yes theres pros and cons to everything.
Using Aweber you can count on your emails getting delivered but it costs money.
Plugins you use for WP you cant always count on getting your emails delivered. Theres a bunch of variables involved like your mailing list size, does the plugin offer throttling, who is your webhost, are you on shared hosting, how many emails per hour does your host let you send, ect, ect.
If you list size is over 500 then you will have a tough time sending emails with a standard plugin.
