Single.php error

    I updated to WP 3.0, then tried to install the facebook social plugin. I added the code to single.php, but there was an error, so I deleted it, then when that didn’t work, re-uploaded single.php

    It’s still loading the altered version and stops when it gets to <div class=”postcontent”> where I had added the facebook code.

    Not sure what else to try to fix this. Main page of blog loads fine, it’s just the single.php / single posts that’s the problem.

    Try re-uploading the entire theme. You may only be dealing with the single.php template file but uploading that alone did not fix your issue.

    Try this:

    1. Change to the default theme.
    2. Delete the theme that contains the bad single.php
    3. Upload the entire theme
    4. Re-activate it.

    I tried changing to the default WP theme, but the same problem still exists.

    I updated to 3.0 before doing this, would that have something to do with it?

    If you changed to the default theme and are still experiencing the same issue then there must be an underlying issue beyond what the plugin was doing.
