Hi @arskrigitsioniets ,
Thanks for reaching out!
Some of the data, like event name / title, start date and time are essential and are required (by Google) so that it can provide it as a search result. If any of these are missing, you will see an error.
Some other data is recommended. Not all events have a performer (multiple speakers, or a gettogether without a performer) or a location (e.x. if it is online) so that info cannot be always provided. These recommended fields will give you a warning and not an error.
In case you only see warnings, you shouldn’t be worried. These will not make your rankings worse.
Best regards,
Marta
Thanks for the answer.
Anyway, is there any way to tell Google that event pages are not event pages but just posts? Maybe you should add to the plugin some switcher to turn on/off structured data from event pages.
Hi @arskrigitsioniets ,
This is definitely not included among our plugin’s features. But you may be able to alter the data using this filter >> “tribe_json_ld_{$type}_data”.
You may be able to sort it out looking at this file: /the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/JSON_LD/Abstract.php
Hope that helps!
Best regards,
Marta
