I am using the plugin Seo Framework and would like the code to show closer to the top of the page.
Here is what I mean. When I hit view source on the website, I see the meta description etc. loads underneath another Google Tag Manager plugin code. For seo purposes, I would like the meta description and content to be as close to the top of the page as possible.

I have tested other seo plugins and they put it above the tag manager code. Is there a simple fix I can implement to change the load order? If I deactive the Google Tag Manager it does load near the top like I want.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello!

Moving it is possible, but I’m advising against it because the code outputting TSF’s meta tags isn’t permanent, nor is displacing it ever tested.

I’m not sure of which SEO benefits you speak. Could you please elaborate?

The Google Tag Manager code only assigns variables; it doesn’t execute anything. Even the redirect for Safari waits for the complete page to load, allowing TSF’s meta tags to be read by search engine scrapers.

Scrapers can extract the header metadata easily as long as the code isn’t tens of thousands of characters long. Simply don’t combobulate all CSS in the header as some do counterproductively, and you’re fine. You didn’t, and so you’re well within the safe zone.

Thank you for clearing this up. I will continue to use it as is. For some reason I thought the higher the code was on the page the better but sounds like that is not a factor in this case.
