• Hi Team, I started facing some issues with the WP Super cache plugin when Yoast is active. When Yoast SEO is active, the cache gets cleared very often. If the plugin is inactive everything is normal. The cache obeys the timeout setting I have set. I tried disabling all other plugins. The only time the cache works is when I deactivate the Yoast plugin.

Can you help me to fix this issue?

    Thanks!

  • Did you try the debug log in this plugin? That will give you a good idea about why the cache is being deleted.

Hi @donncha, thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention that the debug log is getting cleared when the cache is removed automatically. I tried already. But the log gets cleared when the issue happens so I could not find what is causing the issue.

    Thanks!

Yikes. I presume Yoast SEO has some code in it that clears the cache directory entirely. Ouch.

Hi @donncha, I figured out the solution. I posted the same question at Yoast support and somebody replied. The solution to this issue is to remove the organization logo under the
    Search Appearance > General tab.
I tried it and it worked. The cache obeys the timeout settings and is not cleared prematurely.

    Thanks for helping!
