I have the MetaSlider plugin, I add a new slide to upload a video (it is not heavy, it is less than the allowed capacity). And it is where when loading me the “409 error” appears. I already contacted my hosting for a probable security error and they tell me that it is not that, I don’t know what to do anymore.

    Hi @ita14

    Thanks for using MetaSlider.

As your hosting company said, these 409 errors are not easy to solve. They can come from various issue.

My first recommendation would be to make sure the whole site is running on https. Even if you have an SSL certificate you may not be forcing the whole site to use it. Sometimes a mix of http and https can cause this problem.

What a mess because my site is running https 🙁

    Hi @ita14

Just running https isn’t enough and sometimes more is needed: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-fix-the-mixed-content-error-in-wordpress-step-by-step/

I’m not saying this is 100% the solution because 409 errors are tricky to debug and fix. But this is the first place I’d look.

    Hi,

I would just like to add that MetaSlider doesn’t allow a self-hosted video. MetaSlider only accepts YouTube and Vimeo urls for the video slide.
