[Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] WordPress Stats Alt Tab

Using WS Stats with the smiley face. Don’t want to remove smiley, but for SEO purposes I do want to give the smiley ‘alt’ tabs. The smiley is the only graphic on my site without them.

Can anyone please advise me how to do this?
