The code is normally part of the theme. if your theme supported custom headers, you would see an option in the Appearance sub-menu.

Interesting. The Mumrik does not have that in the Appearance menu. Perhaps it is faulty.
Indore does though. Unfortunately, it still does not allow for a large enough picture (850 x 170). I am fine with the 850 but is it possible to change the height to 230?
Perhaps the Mumrik theme simply never offered a custom header option. Not all themes do.
As for Indore, try checking out the Theme’s, or author’s, home page. Or the theme’s stylesheet & functions.php file. The changes needed may be complex.
