Cannot Save RSS Feeds

I’m running WordPress 2.9.1, on PHP4 (waiting for 1and1 to upgrade though not sure if I can force my own upgrade) and cannot for the life of me save RSS feeds to my RSS widgets. The save icon just keeps on rolling…

This has happened to me before, sometimes for different RSS feeds but not all, though at the moment I’m not getting anything from fixmystreet.co.uk or BBC to work at all.

Any ideas? Thanks!
