Thank you for the topic.
Please let me explain the difference between these two options.
You can set your preferred weight/points for both the answer options and the question itself.
The weight/points you have set for the Question weight option (Quiz Maker plugin > Questions page > particular question), are being multiplied with chosen answer weight (if you choose quiz calculation by points). The default value is 1.
Let me bring an example.
For instance, you have set 2 for the weight/points of the particular answer option.
Then, set 3 for the “Question weight” option.
So, by choosing that particular answer option, the user will get 6 points, instead of 2 for that question.
By this, the question points will be multiplied by the answer option points.
