Hello

In order for us to edit the CSS of the buttons, does my client need to pay for a PRO subscription or can we do it with the free version?

You can use the custom CSS on MEC Lite Settings > Custom CSS.
About the custom CSS, please follow the steps explained in this article: https://webnus.net/dox/modern-events-calendar/inspect-element/
