One of my site audit reports says that the robots.txt file has been changed and this could greatly affect my site’s indexability and web ranking. How do I go about fixing this?

  • Hi jobkins,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I cannot currently see that you are using Advanced Ads.

Advanced Ads injects ad codes into your website, but it does not change your robots.txt.

I recommend checking the tool (which one?) you are using to create the robots.txt file and checking the settings if necessary.

If you build it manually, I recommend checking the file, reviewing its entries, and changing them if necessary.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
