I have 2 grouped products, one is monthly subscription and the other one is yearly subscription. The thing is that I want to switch from a monthly subscription to an annual one, but the date of the next payment is not set to a year ahead, remains the renewal date of the old monthly subscription.

    Example:

User buys a monthly subscription of 14.9€ on March 2, 2022.

On March 20, he wants to switch to an annual subscription of €179, where at the time of the change he is charged the €179. The problem is that the renewal date remains the same as that of the monthly subscription, i.e. April 2, 2022 instead of 2023, so on April 2, he would pay again 179€.

    What could be happening?

To be able to guide you in the correct direction may I ask if you are using the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension?

If yes, then the plugin’s support channel is best placed to help you. Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. Please include a link to this forum thread, so that what’s already been done can be kept track of.

    * Kindly note that this particular forum is for questions that are directly related to the features and functionality of the free WooCommerce core plugin.

In case you are not using the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension, please share a copy of your site’s System Status so we can get a better idea of your setup. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Cheers
