Unwanted Redirection

I was adding a ‘Submit’ page and after I published the page I went to ‘View Page.’ I then proceeded to return to my homepage, but I saw in the browser that my homepage is automatically redirecting to the ‘Submit’ page. To test, I went to an ‘About’ page and then again tried to return to the homepage, but it redirects to the ‘Submit’ page.

I have never set up redirections on this wordpress. And in my general settings, the URI is properly listed.

I have tried to change the permalink on the page. At first it was /submit — then I switched it to /submission. Now when going to the homepage, I can see it redirecting from the homepage, to /submit to /submission.

And I can clearly see the homepage works properly by trying:
http://houstonagentmagazine.com?1

This has me completely stumped so any help at all is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
