Problem in the replies from Friendica and other Friendica’s problem
-
I installed the activitypub plug-in on the informapirata.it website
This plugin created me a user of the fediverse @informapirata@www.informapirata.it.
When I publish a new article, the article appears in the timeline of those who follow the account and appears in the form of a post that can be replied to; I can therefore see the message both from mastodon (mastodon.uno instance) and from my friendica instance (poliverso.org).Problem in the replies from Friendica
Unfortunately, even if as a friendica I see the account in its WordPress-activitypub nature, I can’t follow it natively; and in fact I can only reply if a mastodon user shares that message.
However, even if I can answer (and I can see that comment in the comments panel of my WordPress site), from wordpress I can’t post that comment (the problem also affected a pleroma user)!
I found a solution to get around the problem: if before approving the comment, I open the editing panel of the wordpress moderator, and add a few words, the comment is published (https://www.informapirata.it/2022/03/27/la-corte-dei-conti-europea-come-funziona-il-controllo-di-bilancio-dellue-e-perche-dovecchia-interessarti/#comment-16)Friendica’s problem in following a wordpress site
Premise: Friendica down allows you to follow a wordpress site via rss / atom feed, but of course this system does not allow you to reply to a post. When I try to search for a wordpress site with activitypub plugin from friendica’s reference panel, I can see it, but if I try to follow it, friendica hooks it as rss / atom and not as activity pub; it is as if in friendica the rss protocol prevails over activitypub …
Of course my prevalence hypothesis is not based on hard data, it is just an impression
