“blog” directory

Hello, I’ve searched around and I can’t find an answer

I’ve installed my blog in my root directory.
mydomain.com/

When I created a post, the post url is

mydomain.com/BLOG/archives/number.

Yes, I’ve activated the multi sites options and the Numeric Options in the permalinks.

I don’t want that BLOG directory, have no idea where it came from, I just want to keep it as

mydomain.com/archives/number.

Any help will be appreciated.

I’ll try to deactivate multisites options to check if that’s the problem, anyway.
