Hi @sergey9539,
Our plugin already does that. Everything you can do with JPG/PNG applies to WebP 🙂
Cheers,
Thanks for your reply. After deleting the thumbnails, I found the following: the plugin deletes WebP web images only if there is a jpg image in the gallery. If the jpg image is not on the server, are the WebP files not deleted.
Hi sergey9539,
I am not sure how WebP and JPG are related in this case. If I upload any WebP image to the Media Library, and then I delete thumbnails using this plugin, it all works correctly.
Could you please send me a screen recording so I know what you are talking about?
Thank you,
Hi sergey9539,
I noticed that the current thumbnail regeneration did not have the “Delete unselected thumbnails” option active. You have to:
- Stop (not pause) the current thumbnail regeneration
- Enable the “Delete unselected thumbnails” options
- Save the settings
- Refresh the page to make sure that the option was saved
- Start the thumbnail regeneration
Best,
