Many 3.0 issues

I’m having a lot of issues with 3.0. I need bullets to list them all lol.

– my word count is gone, it helps to have a word count when I’m typing up a paid blog post so I know when I’ve reached the 200 word mark.

– when a plugin fails and I have to update it manually via my FTP program but I get a message that will not go away “An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.” For some reason it will not install any plugins anymore, I have to upload them all manually now because it says it cannot create “public_html” now. I don’t know how to get that (quoted) message to go away. I can deal with having to manually do everything but I can’t deal with that message staying there forever.

– I can’t tag posts anymore. I have a plugin that suggests tags but when I click the tags it doesn’t do anything. I can’t even type tags in manually, it just doesn’t seem to like them anymore.

– When I am typing out a post I cannot click anything in the menu on the left.

– When I am typing out a post I cannot add images. Instead of a popup screen allowing me to upload and insert an image it loads a new window over my post and it will allow me to upload but won’t allow me to insert it. Same with featured image. I can’t even add a featured image and I’ve changed my theme to the new default theme for that feature.

– Menu doesn’t work as I thought it would or maybe I just can’t figure it out, who knows.

I’m seriously thinking about going back to the previous version and back to my original theme because I don’t really like these issues I’m having. And those issues I’ve listed are only the ones I know about. Who knows what other problems I might have.
