• Over the years we have achieved relative success in SEO with our static e-commerce website that has hundreds of pages.

WP was recommended as a platform for converting our .com site to CMS. To investigate WP we installed it on a .net version of our name and bought the Amped theme as it was easiest to approximate our .com look and feel. Search engines are blocked at this point of development. We have become intrigued with the value of news, tips and customer feedback as an easy to update and beneficial compliment to our .com and have not yet addressed the CMS issue.

Now I discover we can integrate a WP site into our .com. I am wondering which would be more beneficial from SEO perspective, developing the .net to point back and forth to the .com, or to integrate it into the .com. If integrated we may need to abandon Amped and have our CCS style be applied to the WP pages on the .com which we would need help with.

    Thoughts welcome.
