    Hi,

When my website loads, my nav menu seems to briefly flash Times New Roman for some reason. This isn’t the fallback font (the fallback font is Arial) and I have no clue where it is coming from.

I have a screenshot of this behaviour when loading from Chrome (though I’m not sure how to upload it, so I will describe it). The text loads with the font Poppins as normal, is then uppercases as per the css, but then briefly flashes to times new roman, and afterwards flashes back to Poppins.

This behaviour is also seen on other browsers (Firefox).

I have tried disabling all plugins and the results are the same. Would you be able to help me with this issue?

    Hello @hammypig,

    Thanks for choosing Neve!

Unfortunately I can’t replicate this behaviour, so it may be linked to your environment. You could try to clear the cache (browser and plugin, if you use any caching plugin) and check if it helps. If this doesn’t help, you could make a back up of your site, switch to the default Twenty Twenty One theme and check if the issue persists.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi Lucia,

The issue does not persist on other themes and I deactivated all plugins on a test site, so the issue is isolated to Neve.

One thing that strangely fixed it was importing a pre-built Neve site, which makes me believe that there is some setting in the Neve theme that is doing it.

Is there a way to reset my Neve settings to default to fix this issue?

    Hi @hammypig!

It’s possible to reset the theme settings using the Customizer Reset plugin. You can find a guide detailing how this can be done here.

    Have a nice day!
