critical error on this website while activating Starter Template.

Hello fellows,
Beginner here in wordpress.(FYI, installed WP-5.9.2 on xampp-linux-x64-8.1.2-0 on ubuntu VM)
Below actions i took for your understanding:

I installed/activated Elementor and Astra theme. The site was running till the time.

Now when i installed importer plugin(starter template) from astra option page, the installation was taking forever time.

So i went for manual installation by uploading zip file. The installtion was successful but when i activated the plugin the next page showed

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

The webpage failed to load completely.

Though after deleting the plugin folder the site worked properly. But the site was no use for my learning without the plugin.
