can you tell me which active plugin and theme are you using?
I’m working on a new release that will fix a similar issue (the procedure fails if the upload folder already contains a file with the filename you are trying to use), but this doesn’t seem your case.

Additional info if needed;
The images were imported from Lightspeed and the filenames (which were correct in Lightspeed) are now garbled in WP. Each garbled filename is different.
