    Hi Tobias,

I installed the Responsive table extension, but I don’t know where in my page I have to add the code I have changed as I needed.
When in the Usage instruction, you say: “Then, on the page where you are showing your table, adjust your table’s Shortcode from something like [table id=123 /]”

Forgive my funny question, but I really don’t understand in wich field I have to add the shortcode…

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

You likely added the Shortcode (which looks like [table id=123 /] but with a different table ID) to a post or page, so that a table is shown there. That’s where you’d need to make that modification.

    Tobias

Hi Tobias and thanks for the reply.
I don’t add the shortcode directly to the page, but by selecting it from the table menu (which I created) from elementor’s left sidebar tool. The names of the tables created appear from the menu, I select one and so it is displayed on the page.
    I hope it’s solvable …

    Hi,

sorry, I have no idea how this works, I’m not familiar with Elementor.
Essentially, you are however adding a Shortcode (or call to the Template Tag function) internally, aren’t you? Or how does your solution retrieve the table HTML code from TablePress?

    Hi,

by default, only the word-wrapping is influenced, maybe that’s what you are seeing? Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    Hello Tobias,

    The site is this:
    https://www.giocamiglioricasino.com/

Excluding the first table, (at the top of everypage, which is made with element), all the other tables on the pages of this site are made with tablepress ..

    Thanks for any help…

    Hi,

    thanks for the link!
Can you maybe clarify what the problem is now? I do see the TablePress table, which is horizontally scrollable.

    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,
Well, what I was asking to you is if is possible that only with the installation of the extension (but whitout adjusting a shortcode for each of theme), the tables was displayed correctly..

    Hi,

ah, yes. In this case, the Extension (just by being active) does indeed fix a problem with the word-wrapping 🙂

    Regards,
    Tobias
