File write detcction plugin exist?

    Hi,

    In a book at the bookstore I read soemthing about a plugin that will monitor file writes and send an email to you when any WP related file is written to. Thus, providing a type of security monitoring. I looked thru the plugins the best I could but could not find it. Does anyone know the name of a plugin that provides this functionality?
