SMTP authentication failed with Basic security settings enabled

    Hi,
    Per 1 October Microsoft will enable the basic security defaults settings in Azure.
    Then you also need to use 2MFA.
    Before I tested the contact form 7 without the Basic Security defaults setting and everything is working fine!
    But last weekend I enabled the Basic Security default settings because I want to check before It will implemented “hard”
    But since then I get an error… SMTP Authentication failed….

    Does anybody know a solution for this? When It’s on the basic security default settings you can send via verified SMTP ….

    Hope there is a solution otherwise this will have a huge impact on the plugin / wordpress and Office365 solutions / email adresses.
