    I’ve been using Ultimate Member for about 3 years without incident. Today, I could not login to admin panel, instead received a PHP error message. Then WordPress sent me an email that my site was experiencing a technical issue, gave me a recovery mode link and the information copied below.

    I’m the simpleton that WordPress is supposed to appeal to without real programming savvy. I clicked the recovery mode link and was able to access WordPress admin/dashboard. On the plugin page, it said “This plugin failed to load prperly and is paused during recovery mode”. I deactivated the plugin, exited recovery mode and everything (except Ultimate Member, of course) is working properly. I tried to activate Ultimate Member and the same thing happened again.

    Can anyone help me know what to do next?
