Related products show same title as the product page they are displayed on

    The related products that display at the bottom of a single product page are incorrectly displaying with the same title as the product page they are on.

    e.g. On a product page for “Red Bicycle,” the three related products that serve up at the bottom of the page will all show with “Red Bicycle” as their titles.

    I am just letting WooCommerce serve up the related products — not using any special plug-ins or settings to manage them.

    Hi @goclones1!

    I checked your site and confirmed the issue you have.

    Kindly note that the related product feature is a section on some templates that pulls products from your store that share the same tags or categories as the current product; there is no way to set them in the admin.

    With that in mind, the issue could be due to your theme. One thing you could try is changing your theme back to a default one like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-One and checking if the issue persists.

    I switched to Twenty Twenty-One and the issue persists.

    It is strange behavior.

    Please try, in that case, a full conflict test to determine if there is a conflict between WooCommerce and your theme or another plugin.

    You can do this by temporarily switching your theme back to Storefront, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce, and then checking again if the issue persists. If that solves it, then re-enable all plugins one-by-one, until you find the one creating the conflict.

    If you cannot perform a conflict test on your live site, we recommend creating a staging site using the WP Staging plugin.

    Thank you for the quick replies and the thorough explanation. I created a staging site and did the conflict testing. It turned out to be a plug-in called “Improved Badges for WooCommerce.”
