    Hi,

I’m fairly new to wordpress. I have an issue that doesn’t appear to be on other installs that I’ve seen and doesn’t appear to be addressed in these forums.

I’m having a very hard time managing menus. Two issues here in general. First is: there isn’t an option to edit menus from hovering over the main “appearance” option in the dashboard. I have to first edit the theme, then I’m able to get to the menu editing page.

The larger issue is when i’m on that page. I have ZERO options to edit the links on various menus. Apparently I cannot attach a screenshot here, so i uploaded it to google drive and gave view permissions to the public. Please see here for that screen. very frustrating.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

You are using a block theme that was added in WordPress 5.9. With block themes, all template settings are made in the new editor. If you want to edit the menu, you have to open the editor and adjust the menu to your wishes. You can get an overview of this from here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/twenty-twenty-two/

Gotcha. That editor is awful! Haha. Why would they remove the old one in tandem when the functionality of one wouldn’t interfere with the other?

Thanks for helping. If anyone who developed that editor is reading, please bring back the old one so it’s easier to manage!
