    Hello

We are having a problem with the Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed plugin.

Whenever we add a new post on our Instagram, it does not automatically display on the website.

We have to clear the “Feed Cache” first in order for the new posts to appear.

Is there a way to make it automatic so we don’t have to clear the Feed Cache every time we have a new post?

Also, there is no “Check for new posts every” setting on the “Configure” tab on the new version of the plugin.

    Plugin: Smash Balloon Instagram Feed
    Version: 6.0.4

    Hi @slvrmist,

Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. Oftentimes this type of issue is related to site caching plugins. If you are using any such plugins, you may want to check if you can lower the cache timeout / TTL settings for the plugin to make it update more frequently.

Something else that might help would be to go to WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings > Advanced and turn on Load Initial Posts with AJAX and then click Save Changes.

In the new version of the plugin, if you go to Instagram Feed > Settings > Feeds, the Caching setting time is the equivalent of the “Check for posts every” in the old version.

I hope this information is helpful, and if I can provide any more assistance, please let me know.

    Best regards,

    Louis
