Plugin activation in WP3.0

Can someone please help me about this:

The plugin generated 858 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

how can is solve that issue? and what really is the cause of that problem?
