    Dear all,

Since I started to use WordPress, I updated my pages. They are published. The problem I faced:
    1. They were published with .php for example:
    https://www.cambridgepolaris.com/contact-us/

    2. The .php page still there. How could I deleted them? or update new wordpress pages to replace them?

I am a novice amateur user.

    Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This Home.php is not part of an WordPress-Installation. It looks to me like you have WordPress installed alongside a previous website in the same directory of your hosting. You would have to remove the files of this previous site from your hosting via FTP. Here you can find some information about working via FTP: https://wordpress.org/support/article/ftp-clients/ – if you have further questions about this, contact your hoster.

Important: pay attention to what you delete via FTP. You are not allowed to remove any part of WordPress – only the files from the previous web. It may be worthwhile to make a backup of everything beforehand.

    thanks @threadi
But I am still confused. It is not file, but pages designed using other webpage designer software (similar to WordPress). But my hosting (justhost) removed them and moved everything to WordPress.
so, all my previous pages with (dot)php remained in the web, as well as all new pages imported/edited/published by WordPress.

If your hoster has helped you with the changeover, you must contact them for a solution. The accessibility of the files of the previous CMS has nothing to do with WordPress as software, nor can WordPress control this.

    Thanks @threadi
Sorted out by the help of the hosting – via C-panel file manager!
