Our plugin indeed supports the PayPal Pay Later option(pay in 4 or pay in 3 etc) if you choose the Smart Button option when settings up the plugin. The Pay Later button will also be displayed in the cart or checkout page.
However, there are some conditions that need to be met to use this option. Here are some major points:
1. Pay Later is supported only in the below countries.
Australia
France
Germany
United Kingdom
United States
As such, your account should be based on one of the above countries and your customer should also be checking out from these counties.
2. Site currency should be one of the supported ones from these above mentioned countries.
There are also many other conditions like, customers credit eligibility, minimum and maximum subtotal amount conditions etc for Pay Later.

Please note that all these restrictions are enforced by PayPal and not the plugin.

the pay after service is active.
