    Hi,

    I have your free plugin installed on a website. The main events page will intermittently fail and display a critical error message. If I purge the cache on the website the problem goes away. Is there a likely cause for this? I’ve tried disabling the caching plugin but the problem persists.

    Yikes! That’s not normal for sure.

    With that in mind, there could be a number of things causing this (plugin/theme conflict, server configuration – memory, PHP version).

    To narrow it down, I would recommend the following:

    1. Try turning on the WordPress debug log: https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ that should provide a bit more insight as to what is failing exactly
    2. Using a staging site should allow you to go through our testing for conflict procedure: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/

    In most cases, that should be enough to find the issue and fix it 🙂
