Hi, I’ll be glad to help.
You can test for conflicts first, deactivate all your other plugins and test the edit button again, if it works then it is a plugin conflict, start reactivating one plugin at a time and testing after each to find the culprit.
The edit thumb function is currently working fine for me on WP 5.9, with PHP 7.x 8.0 and 8.1
Please share your results, if you find a conflict, let us know what the plugin is so we can create a bug report.

Thanks Jaime, I deactivated everything and the Edit Thumb button still produced a blank window.

Hi @jsmxrf,
Could you please try re-installing NextGen Gallery to see if that’ll change anything?

I have tried that already and it doesn’t change anything. I’ll also note I’ve tried this with Edge, Firefox, and Chrome.

Hi @jsmxrf,
Could you also please try temporarily switching to a theme from the Twenty series?

I tried switching the theme, editing the thumbs is still blank.

Hi @jsmxrf,
Feel free to reach our support assistance directly at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ mentioning this thread’s URL and we’ll have a look at it.
Hello Support-Team,
I also have this problem but in another way.
If I use the admin-account I can see the NextGen icon in the sidebar and it works properly. If I log in with the editor profile the NextGen icon is missing in the sidebar anfd if I try to insert a NextGen gallery into the page a blank window appears.
What could be the reason?
Thanks
