    Hi there!

I created a slideshow by dublicating an already existing one and changing the images and parameters (just in case this is important information).

I created four slides and on firefox it all shows perfectly. However on other browsers like safari and google chrome the slideshow adds slides by showing the second image twice and the third image twice. There are all of the sudden 6 dots shown under the slider instead of 4…

what could be the issue here?

    Thank you in advance,

    cheers,
    Fanni

  • Can you try disabling the JS minification from your wpautomize plugin and see if that fixes the issue. Please also make sure you clear your cache after making the changes.

    Hey!
Thank you for the quick response!
I did disable the following on WP-Autoptimize: Minify excluded CSS and JS files?

After disabling I saved and cleared the Autoptimize Cache.
    Nothing changed unfortunately…
    Any other ideas?

Try loading the page with ?ao_noptimize=1 added to the URL and see if the problem persists or not?

If not some further autoptimize (re-)configuration might be needed to fix this which I’ll be happy to assist with 🙂

    hope this helps debugging,

Thank you so much @optimizingmatters and @yanex !

I went through Autoptimize and realized that if I disable “lazyload images” the problem is fixed! Is there a possibility to disable lazyload only for that page?

If not, I guess I might just add ?ao_noptimize=1 to the url….

So I just enabled lazyload again with the exclusion of “slider-xyz”. it seems to be working now with lazyload enabled 🙂

given each <img in the slider seems to have a classname with the slider ID and the slide ID, you likely can add either slider- or slide- to the lazyload exclusions, that way you don’t have to worry about what images are in there any more? 🙂
