New user email notification for approved accounts only

    Hello,

    is it possible to set up email notification for new users (admin email) only if account is approved? Setting in user role is set to “email activation” but admin gets new user email even if no email confirmation has been sent.

    Hi @renescr ,

    You need to enable the ‘Account Approved Email’ in wp-admin>Ultimate Member> Settings> Email.

    Thank you very much for your answer!
    But in this setting only Member gets an email. I can’t add an additional email address here 🙁

    The process should be as follows:
    – User registers (filling out form)
    – User gets an activation link via email
    – After this email is confirmed, the user is activated
    – Administrator should receive the filled out form from user

    But now the process is:
    – User registers (filling out form)
    – Administrator gets this filled out form from user (“new user”)
    – User gets an activation link via email
    – …

    Reason is that this would avoid unnecessary spam registrations (Ultimate Member – reCAPTCHA is installed but doesn’t work perfect).

    Any ideas?

    Sorry for the late response.

    Unfortunately, Administrators can receive the submitted data immediately after the registration. This requires customization if you want admins to receive the submitted data only after they confirm their account via email.
