Thanks for your question. I know that MLA is powerful but complex, and it requires some study and work to apply to an application problem. I regret that I do not have the time and talents required to develop tutorials and larger examples, but I do try to answer questions and help with specific solutions here in the support forum.
There are some getting started ideas in the Settings/Media Library Assistant Documentation tab, e.g., the “MLA Gallery Examples” section. MLA tries to be as WordPress-like” as possible and the [mla_gallery] shortcode is based on WordPress’ [gallery] shortcode. Most applications use a WordPress page with one or more MLA shortcodes in the content to display Media Library items.
Here is an earlier topic about the basics that contains links to other topics along similar lines:

In general, tasks like separating images by blog/product use or by product category are a good application for one or more taxonomies. You see this with the WordPress Categories and Tags for posts; MLA adds taxonomy support to Media Library items.
I hope that gets you started on applying MLA to your application. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it or start another if you have problems or further questions regarding the material in the earlier topics referenced above. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
