text on front page

    I entered a contact widget and created a new page. I deleted the page and the widget yet the text remains on the front page. This is the link TIA TOM

    Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

    Thanks for the info. I deleted the history and tried ” press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site” without any luck. It is just on one theme.

    It is just one theme where the text appears.

    I delete the theme and reinstalled it but the text is still there.

    Try removing all widgets via Appearance/Widgets.

    I tried that with no success. It is just that one theme.

    Then it must be coded into the theme’s template file.
