    Hello,

I’m using Buddypress which is why I need only object caching I believe.

I’m wondering if you can enable object cache independent of other caching like page cache? Because it appears like the global caching needs to be ON for object cache to also work?

I’ve tried excluding urls; the problem is that some elements of Buddypress are dynamic across the entire site, like the menu bar which has a notification alert/counter.

It appears because these notifications will load on all pages, they end up being cached along with static pages that I actually want to be cached.

In this case, it appears to defeat the purpose as I’d probably have to not cache the entire site to avoid this.

Hence, wondering if only object cache is achievable?

    Hi,

in Cache -> Cache -> set enable cache to OFF, then configure the object cache and enable it

    Best regards,
